Hello
I set the G54 offsets in the Axis GUI. I worked and finally switched the machine off.
The following day, I updated my computer and after running LinuxCNC I got zero values of G54 offsets in the Axis GUI.
Is it possible to find the exact values of G54 offsets now?
I've edited the file linux_cnc.var and linux_cnc.var.back, but in those files are only zeros values.
Thanks a lot.
Tomas

This is unexpected. A LinuxCNC update would normally leave the .vars file (where the offsets are stored) untouched, and the offsets would persist.
What did you update to, and from?
But, surely it can't be _that_ hard to recover the offsets by touching-off to the fixtures or half-finished workpiece?

Hi. Thanks for reply.
Thanks a lot.
I have not updated for several months. It was a big update. A lot of packages from default resources in LinuxCNC 2.7."What did you update to, and from?"
I did it."But, surely it can't be _that_ hard to recover the offsets by touching-off to the fixtures or half-finished workpiece?"
Thanks a lot.
