We need more information.
Start with :
sudo lspci -v
and paste the output here, also attach the hal and ini files so we can check them.
Regards,
Tom.

You have to change the parallel port pins as they are different from what you need, so open "stepconf" again, choose to edit and existing config, change the pins for :
xstep >pin2
xdir > pin3
Ystep>pin4
ydir >pin 5
zstep >pin6
zdir>pin7
You can also create a new config, just make sure to have the pins set as above.
xstep >pin2
xdir > pin3
Ystep>pin4
ydir >pin 5
zstep >pin6
zdir>pin7
You can also create a new config, just make sure to have the pins set as above.

did you check the paroprt adress is correct and it is there Parport0 0x378
dmesg | grep parpo*
get above in a terminal
you use the new Standard
What Interface is connected to the Parport and what is behind the interface
as Tom get you to it may be only the DIR/Step swap

Hello guys.
It is none of that, I realized late but it is on the second PC that happened to me but the ISO I downloaded does not work with emc2 2.7.14, install Ubuntu with version 2.5 and no problem is perfect, it makes me very angry But that is the problem.

you are mixing up old and new Distributions
eighter go for the old one ubuntu <18.04 and linuxcnc 2.5
or the new Debian wheezy 8 or stretch 9 and the new 2.7.14
But this shoudent have any problem with the parallelport
you give no info back what the
dmesg | grep parpo*
has outputet in terminal on the install
And please as you mixing
what is the Real Setup you are on
PC/ARM/Notbook
Ubuntu Version/ Debian
Linuxcnc Version
and how did you get it mixed
you are talking on ISO
so the CD <2.6 and the DVD >2.6 got all inside
i guess you dont try to run in a VM box as this is offen the Fault you see
