Hi! This is my very first post here. Completely new in linuxcnc (not so in linux and cnc at all).
I got a 7i96s to CNC a Sherline Chucker lathe. Installed last version of linuxcnc, read a lot of stuff. Last week I ran some configs and could drive a stepper motor as my "hello world". Today I was trying to put an encoder to test and had some issues. It seems the linuxcnc cant communicate with the board, but I can ping it normally. I think I did some updates with Synaptic.
Attached Report error and the hal file.
Any clue? Thanks in advance

I think Im having ethernet conection problems. Seems to be unstable. One minute ago I was pinging the board, but now Im not.
