A bit of delay playing with an eBay purchase was created by BeagleBrainz
Sometime last year I saw one of these little beasties on ebay for about 10 or 20 dollars
Little dual core atom thing.
Inside is a nice 60GB Kingston SSD, Dual 1GB NIC 5 RS-232 serial ports and one port configurable for RS-232or RS485 6 all up, also the previous owner had added 4GB RAM module, there is also a mini PCIe adapter and CF connector tucked away inside.
Now I was a little busy with work at the time and put it on the shelf for the weekend......well that weekend came and got a chance to boot up and lo and behold the previous owner had a version of debian with Linuxcnc installed.......kinda funny to me, unfortunately no password to login in.
Kinda funny what you can get of the 'bay.

Can you let us know the Processor details?
I have a couple of J1900 with Baytrail chip sets which are basically boat anchors due to thermald issues.
