RTlinux priority management was created by Blurope
hello,
my linux version is 4.9.0-9-rt-amd64, its image created by AgentWD40.
I'd like to ask about how to manage thread priority, because this is my first contact with RT systems.
I would like to run Java RT on this machine and see how programs will run.
But first I have to give this process a high priority right? and can I check the maximum time to complete a given process (hard real time machine? )?
thank you for any help
Best regards

1. i am not sure what are you asking,
2. Never give any process high priority in Linux as A: this is not windows and B: it will most probably make the system unusable,
3. this is Linuxcnc forum, not Java anything, and there is nothing regarding it in your question,
4. i am moving it to "off topic" .
