I hear ya! This week the most important piece of production equipment in the shop failed catastrophically  resulting in an urgent dash across town to acquire replacement equipment! Put a bit of a dint in the linuxcnc budget...

Amazing German engineering at almost AUD $1500

Sometimes keeping it simple is best. Maybe a microwave and an Aeropress ?
Aero Press

Though the micro air delivery is pretty sweet.

Nah, its not the same despite what they try and tell you. Plus what would I do if I got bored at work?

I'm loving it by the way, and the daily coffee intake has increased... without needing a drone..
I actually made a new years resolution in 2021 to never drink crappy coffee from the takeaway next door ever again and I have yet to break that resolution!

I hear you rodw. Everyone has their own preferences. I have tried French Presses, the in cup filters and so on.
Right now I use an AeroPress. I have personally seen the difference of what the bean sellers put out. I have also seen
what happens when a good bean company gets bought out by a Corporate entity . Good coffee goes to crap.

I got the coffee bug when working in a suburb full of micro roasteries and coffee shops. I used to go shopping for beans every week or two. Then the guy who owned the coffee shop outside my office told me he took one day off a week to roast his beans and just buy from him which I did. The problem is now there are no roasteries nearby so I make do with beans from Zaraffas a local chain which are not as good. I did try roasting beans in a modified breadmaker and hot air gun and got good results. One day I might buy a decent roaster.

Aero press and coffee ground between espresso and drip size. I have been getting coffee from what the buzz in College Station Texas lately.

There Columbian is pretty good, they have some blends that are really good also.
