Snow here disappear in few days from top of mountain because wind .... so not sky with skins ..... than return and go .... but can done some little peaks .... tomorrow try again but snow is heavy now .... I hope in an other perfect day. Hello Toma!

Phew! the snow disappeared here too when the temperature hit 40.5 degrees C last week.

Hello from Florida. What is this snow you speak of? LOL

Here in North Italy now we have a little bit of snow from 1200meter... so we can ski from 1400 to up .... I belive there are some linuxcnc lover from Montana too or better from Alaska ) .....

I was born at 1100m, I find it hard to like summer more than winter....even though I've wanted to get a boating license for years (and right now I know I don't have the time ) .... in 1 hour I can be at the seaside ...

But if at your home in winter register -17°C there is certainly someone who puts on skis with skins and goes uphill... then takes them off and goes down... or not?

Wanna come Down Under for summer Tommy, been quite mild this year only a couple days over 40C and luckily in Sydney no 2 days in a row have been over 40C. Mostly 30 - 35 then some days it's been pishing rain. Probably a bit hotter up Rods way, but to be fair Queensland is 20 years and 1 hour behind the rest of Australia.
As I type this it's just gone midnight local time and it's a cool 26C.
