today is sunny ... cold ... there are snow in the ground .... is possible to skii .... I'm not at work ... at last the perfect day .... good Christmas day to all

Aussie:

Fark it's hot, can't ski but can chain an otto bin lid behind the bike and hope the road doesn't chew it up or the missus finds out, Chucking a sickie, too good to work, Merry Chrissy mate.

BTW that's the version for "Polite Company".......when read don't pause between words...Apparently the Aussie accent is said to come from drunkenness.

Dear Friend ... snow and drunk can be a good couple if after can go to sleep ..... my english I know is terrible .... after these I'm curious about your upper worlds ... seems like a figure to speech .... and honestly I know only "brass monkeys", no other unfortunately my flights is only for work, so is difficult to discover people culture. Here for me is a better place.

Ok you take a pause from work (chat gtp explain to me these is a typical australian slang) .... but where does these phrase came from? (I refer to ..... can chain an otto bin lid behind the bike ...) .

bye .... uknowwn member ....

Probably a bit hotter up Rods way, but to be fair Queensland is 20 years and 1 hour behind the rest of Australia.

Thats a bit harsh! Nobody understands that half of Queensland already has half the state with 20 minutes daylight saving built in just by the longitude. Eventually, the rest of the world will come to realise the health benefits of normal time. I think Trumpy is on to it!

Talk to concreters up your way in Summer. Most of the ones I worked with on civvy sites would start at 5am rather than 6am to beat the sun. I much preferred it in NSW, that extra hour when its not so hot makes a damn difference.  I guess for office workers and the like it's much of a muchness either way, but out on site when there's no trees, no grass, no shade, just dirt and excavators as far as the eye can see it makes a difference.  Even in NSW if we could get away starting at 5am in summer when I was doing playground installations we'd jump at the chance. Tho it didn't help much when we were up in Griffith in January.
