Hello Guys,
I was wondering what would be the best course of attack for our new system.
We are building our next machine and I am to the point of setting up and configuring the pc/software end of the retrofit, and am not sure where to start.
We are using 2.6.0-pre on our current build so I dont know if I should load from the live cd or manually load ubuntu then the git version. Then I would like to use all of my files we created for the first machine just re-naming them for the machine I will be using them on.
Reason I ask these questions is I didnt actually set up linux on the machine that we have just finished, I came onboard and took over the build after the computer was already configured with ubuntu/linuxcnc.
Thanks
Rick

LiveCD then buildbot is probably the simplest way if it is a completely blank new system.

Ok we will give it a whirl.
It is yes a completely blank system built from scratch/assembled components no power ever to the motherboard/hard drive.
