insmod: error inserting '/usr/realtime-2.6.32-122-rtai/modules/linuxcnc/hm2_pci.ko': -1 No such device

This is the problem, but I have no idea what the cause is.

You seem to be on the right version, and the right kernel. I wonder if the problem is not actually related to the upgrade?
Is it possible that the 8i20 was disturbed?

THANKS FOR YOUR ANSWER

NO I DONT THINK THE 8I20 IS DISTURBED, BECAUSE I DONT USE ANY MESA-CARD
I JUST RUN THE SAMPLE CONFIGURATION WITHOUT ANY MESACARD
THE HM2-SERVO SAMPLES.

insmod: error inserting '/usr/realtime-2.6.32-122-rtai/modules/linuxcnc/hm2_pci.ko': -1 No such device

IS hm2_pci.ko the problem

CAN IT BE A PROBLEM WITH THE HOSTMOD2 DRIVER?

If it is a PCI card you have to have the card installed to run the configuration.

YES OF COURSE JOHN

THANKS FOR YOUR HINT!

I HAVE NOT READ THE HINTS IN THE SAMPLE CONFIGURATIONS.
YES J HAVE TO INSTALL THE CARDS AND THE HOSTMOT2 DRIVER!

WHAT A BIG MISTAKE OF MINE!
