Hello,
I'm trying to update to Linuxcnc Master Branch, but something with libmodbus-dev package is wrong I can not install it, it can not be found...
I have to do this really quick, fast help would be really good.

Do you need really libmodbus? if not, compile without it by adding --with-libmodbus=no to the configure command.

Says that it isn't there in Lucid (and gives one solution).
You could try moving on to Precise:

Hello folks,
I solved the problem, I reinstalled ubuntu and installed master with git in the terminal and somehow it works.
