Take another peek and see if it is better, I was somewhat in a hurry to go on a motorcycle trip to the mountains of NW Arkansas the other day.

Hi John
Afraid I would find the top section on 2.6 confusing if I didn't already know where to look
The link for 'Download the Debian Wheezy ISO' (wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?Hybrid_Iso)
does not contain the download link and is in fact about how to write the iso to USB stick.
The link 'Instructions to get the 2.6 LiveCD are here:' ( wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?Hybrid_Iso)
leads to the same place and so does not give the url.
The only link that does lead to the URL is entitled 'Information about the Debian Wheezy ISO'
but this leads to an old gmane entry
The rest is fine and draws the distinction between the installable image and the standard Live CD
regards

Spot on thank you JT
Nice and clean, clear and simple.
Hope you are not too 'hogged out' from your trip
(albeit it looks like it might be a Goldwing, so you are probably still fresh)

Yes, it is a Goldwing and after a days rest we are back and running at 100% of my normal 75%.

John,
If I could only make one more suggestion on this topic. Can we place the MD5 checksum net to the download link? This way they have a means of checking the download against the source file.
When I run md5sum on the copy I downloaded, which seems a good copy to me. I was able to install and all appears to be working as designed. I get the following sum:
1d0025a8c1a61fbf32b99ab5797d95e3
Thanks for all the great suport folks!
Just as an update, I am working on my outline for the screen cast so should have it available the next week or so.
Regards,
Joe

John,
I would be happy to.
However, at the risk of sounding a little dense, I cannot find the page on the wiki index that would allow me to edit the linuxcnc.org/index.php/english/download page.
Am I just overlooking it?
Joe

John,
After looking a little closer, it looks like the download page is a regular Joomla page. Seeing I don't have the ability to edit Joomla articles I will have to defer this request to the site admin.
But now that I know that I can help edit the wiki articles, I think I will donate some time where I can. Thanks for pointing that out to me.
Regards,
Joe
