Long time Mach3 user (2003) on my CNC Router and Taig mill.
Decided to step up to LinuxCNC for my new CNC Router build.
Digging around I found an old mining machine (Crypto Coin Mining) that consists of:

ASROCK H81 BTC motherboard (with parallel port)
$30 Intel 1150 processor at 2.5ghz
8gb RAM
64gb SSD
600watt psu
A very inexpensive machine but runs great.

The thing had 6 of the Nvidia 750Ti vid cards in it. Removed all and installed a 650Ti (won't boot with the 750 installed!)
Wheezy 7 installed, LinuxCNC installed and all running fine.
Can't get Nvidia drivers to install on the RTAI kernal but my latency is 2000 less using the 650 so I left it in.
Latency test shows 4000ish ns when I surf the web and run glxgears and wireless network.

I'm using the Gecko 540 at 48v. 270oz steppers to start.
Plans are to upgrade to servos and the Mesa 6125.
Will this machine run my router?
