LinuxCNC 2.7 was created by cncdan
have installed linuxCNC 2.7
when I run the Latency Test it run`s very high like over 170000 is this good or bad or is there something wrong with 2.7 that would cause this to happen

What hardware are you using?
Have you done the normal BIOs setup for real time?
(disable all power management, hyperthreading etc)

its using a G540
your other 2 question don't know I am a complete nob when it come`s to Linux.
the other thing this computer ran mach3 like a bag of crap so the computer might be useless just trying to see if I can get linuxCNC to run on the computer

I meant what PC hardware are you using?
And did you disable all power management settings in BIOS?
