Hi,
Something went wrong when I was fooling around with JointAxis Branch.
Is there a way to uninstalling Linuxcnc like pressing a reset button?
You help is most appriciated

Ken,
sudo apt-get remove linuxcnc
The problem is whether the libraries that the new, wrong, version of linuxcnc had as dependencies and were also installed, will screw things up.
Only way to tell is try it ( AFTER YOU HAVE BACKED UP YOUR DATA) and if it fails then cut and paste the error messages so we can see what the block is.
Thereafter try to only use synaptic to install and uninstall packages, don't double click things in the file manager, you will stand a better chance of recovery.
