I have no idea how configurable the BIOS is and what control it will have of hardware.
I take it that is the point of your enquiry, does it allow turning off multithreading etc. etc.?
Reading the wikipedea entry, this seems unlikely,

It may run OK on an unproblematic MB, but will offer no assistance with one that requires alterations at BIOS level.
