Dummy question guys, i was checking the linuxcnc site to download the latest version when i noticed there is a 2.7.3 and 2.6.12 so what's the difference between them?

gives the changelogs, if it does not mean anything, it probably does not matter much, but 2.7.3 should have less (known) bugs.

The largest difference between 2.6 and 2.7 is the new trajectory planner. It allows for read ahead in the g-code giving faster milling of short segmented code. (A big help with 3-D relief carving, and other similar CAD/CAM generated code.)
