NGCGUI - metric mode? [Solved] was created by Transistor

I'm working my way through my NGCGUI problems. The latest is that I find that it defaults to quaint inch measurements.
Is there a quick way to fix this? The answer is probably buried in this 33 page thread but l can't find it.

				quaint ?
linuxcnc.org/docs/html/gui/ngcgui.htmlSome of the subs examples are metric. In most case if you use a preamble and then just edit the sub for the unit you want.

NGCGUI_PREAMBLE = in_std.ngc - the preamble file to be added in front of the subroutines. When concatenating several common subroutine invocations, this preamble is only added once. For mm-based machines, use mm_std.ngcRick G
