when configuring the rt-preempt kernel, other than configuring the kernel as "fully preemptible kernel" (processor type and features -> preemption model), what other options should you enable/disable?

Maybe start with the the config from debian and work from there?

(I am assuming that the "sudo apt-get install linux-image-rt-amd64" command gets the kernel build config as well as the kernel)

What about boot parameters, like isolcpu?
