Which repository for upgrade to master branch? was created by hattori-hanzo
Hi folks,
Few days ago I have downloaded and installed the 2.7 wheezy live version. Now i would like to upgrade to the master version in order to discover new features. I am fully aware that the master is not a stable version but it's fine as I don't plan to work productive with it.
Can you please tell me which repository i have to use for my installed 2.7 wheezy version to upgrade to master branch?
i guess it's either:
Wheezy (realtime with RTAI)
or
Wheezy (uspace: realtime with RT-Preempt, and simulation)
I am using a Dell Optiplex 960 C2D which is 64bit able.
Thanks in advance,
Markus

The choice depends on which kernel you are using
The Wheezy LiveCD uses the RTAI kernel, so that is probably the one you want.
Use "uname -a" to check your kernel name.
I assume that you are looking on the builedbot.linuxcnc.org page?
