Hello everybody,

I'm an absolute Linux novice and get the Linuxcnc 2.7 not installed.
I've created a boot stick with different programs, but I can not boot from it.
It does not work with the live CD either.

An Ubunto boot stick works without problems ...

Can it be on the motherboard? It's a gigabyte J3455N-D3H
I chose it because it has a COM and two LAN outputs.

I would like to use the RT core to operate the mesa cards 7i76e and 7i85 with servo motor + glass scale

I found this help from cncnoob1979:
Complete How-To Linux Mint 18.1 32/64 RTAI or PREEMPT with RIP installation or deb

Would you recommend to install the RT core with Linux Mint as a beginner?

I would try the debian stretch test ISO:

www.linuxcnc.org/testing-stretch-rtpreempt/

I suspect that MB is too new for wheezy
