Hi everyone,
I have my senior project which is upgrading and developing CNC mill machine using BBB(BEAGLEBONE BLACK) installed with linuxcnc
the question I have my Debian installed on the BBB I WANT TO INSTAL THE LINUXCNC?
I run it with the user and pass
I used the command
sudo apt-get update
then
sudo apt-get upgrade
then
sudo apt-get install linuxcnc or machine kit
it comes E: unable to locate package linuxcnc or machine kit
can you help me with this step by step because I am new to this languages, please
also, i connect the ethernet to the BBB how can I deal with that?

Best is to swap to machinekit. Search Google for it.

For machinekit:
1: Machine kit google group, join that. groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!forum/machinekit
2: Machinekit images elinux.org/Beagleboard:BeagleBoneBlack_D...l_Revs.29_Machinekit
3: The therent process is pretty much the same as for a PC if using ethernet, wrieless is another kettle of fish.
4: You will need a cape and to research how to get the cape to interact with the BBB & Linuxcnc.
