Installing linuxcnc from cd`

Hi I have a machine that won't boot from USB and won't boot from dvd I can read the dvd's fine once I boot from cd (From a livecd) but it comes up with a boot error if I try to boot from dvd in this machine. The dvd boots fine in other machines.

How do I install linuxcnc 2.8 on this machine? Or do I give up and find another machine.

Sometimes life is too short to hassle with such things, but If you really want to get it on there, you could probably pull the hard-drive stick it in another PC, install Linuxcnc, then swap it back. You will have to decide if it is worth your effort.

Buy a 2nd hand PC then lol
