hmmmm USB on the H310 chipset may not have support in the kernel supplied with the 2.7.x release of linuxcnc.

According to Intel kernel support starts with 4.14

Maybe others can chime in if they have a solution.

I try Linux Mint 18.3 and linuxcnc-stretch-uspace-amd64-r10.iso and they work fine.

Ok maybe there is support with 4.x kernels prior to 4.14.

If you need an rtai kernel rtai-5.1 has support for 4.9.51 & 4.9.80 kernels, but you'd have to patch and build the kernel yourself and build linuxcnc to suit.
