Can't find module 'hm2_eth' was created by Rogla
Hi,
Why do I get following error on start of Linux CNC:
"Can't find module 'hm2_eth' in /usr/realtime-3.4-9-rtai-686-pae/modules/linuxcnc" ?
I had a working setup with Linux CNC v2.7.14, MESA 7i76e on a computer with an AMD cpu,
I reinstalled on a computer with Intel CPU.
millton:~$ uname -v
#1 SMP PREEMPT Debian 3.4.55-4linuxcnc

You have the wrong kernel for Ethernet card, you need the Preempt-RT, not RTAI.
Download the stretch version of linuxcnc image, or install the required type of kernel.

Thanks, that explains why I had Preempt-RT on my old system.
And I now remember that I changed kernel, have to figure it out one again.
