Laptop touchscreen

Hello.

I have problem with laptop touchscreen i have a split install for win7 and linux cnc.
On windows 7 touchscreen is working on linux not can you point me direction where to look for a problem please?
There are not many forum threads about linux and touchscreens outthere

What exactly is not working? The touchscreen has no response in Linux? No multi-touch or gestures in Linux?

touchscreen was not even registred in xinput.
but i figured out it yesterday.
it is not a touchscreen but penmount9000(oldschool touchscreen)
i installed drivers and it is working now.
