Can someone provide a link to where i can download an older version of 2.8? pre1-4040 has many Gmoccapy issues. Seems like some drastic changes were pushed through in Gmoccapy the other day in a hurry.

You can use Synaptic to force the version easily.
(I'm certain there are ways using apt-get and the command line, but I'd have to look them up.

Since thee are no released versions of master(2.8), I'm pretty sure you would need to compile a particular version.

Buidbot.linux has back to 2.8pre1-3932 right now. So if that is back far enough for you, you won't have to build from source.

Norbert has already made the necessary fixes to code. It was a merge issue.
