seeking Installer/integrator San Diego area

I have a 13x40 lathe I converted myself running mach 3 on a parallel port with X,Z steppers and spindle encoder.
This system basically works...

I have a clean fresh linux cnc install on a separate computer....

Could someone help me
1)Covert the mach 3 configs to run under linux cnc,
2)Help me understand the different UI choices to pick a good one for a lathe.

Willing to pay for some consulting time.....
Would prefer to do this local...

The stepconfig wizard has a check box to import a mach 3 machine file.

Axis and GMOCCAPY are on there by default and o remember reading GMOCCAPY has lathe and back tool lathe displays
