RTAI-Kernel not booting ("nullb0: unknown partition table") kernel panic

hi all,
I try to install kernel 3.16.52 with rtai 4.9.9 release tarball(known as working).
but whatever I try, I get:
"nullb0: unknown partition table"
and kernel-panic
regardless, if I use a USB-stick or a SATA-disk.
but if I try the same in a virtual-machine (with the same disk-image),
the complete system boots without any errors.
all usb-, partition- and filesystem options are enabled and static.
now I have no ideas any more...

Seams that Your Hardware doesent support this Kernal
You can Check by the older 10.04 32Bit linuxcnc CD
if this runs it is a Hardware issue
