Dual boot was created by Alfybe
Hello,
I have to install linuxcnc on a windows 10 machine (dual boot)
First I used gparted to make some free space on the hard disk (80Gb ext4)
Then I installed Linuxcnc 2.7.14. All seemed going well but I did not have the message to manage grub at the end !?!.
When rebooting, windows has started automatialy
Is there another method to make a dual boot machine?
Any advice is welcome
Thanks
Alain

I usually put a second hard drive in and select the drive I want at boot up. I have done a dual boot by installing Linux Mint first but prefer to just have each OS on a separate drive.

as BigJohn is saying it is more comfort to use a second Harddrive

c'est beaucoup mieux et moins d'effort avec un 2ème disque dur

Thanks to all,
I'm gonna try this solution but I don't understand why the 'grub page' has not come while during the installation?
Anyway if I can access to grub at the restart, no problem.
pl7i92: quelle est ta machine ?

I've tried easy bcd, but on win10 it hasn't worked. I gave up. One-day I'll try again.

There a couple options for grub and legacy grub but it hangs up on me
