LCNC will not run without USB

Hi folks,

I installed LCNC on a new PC, I must have done something wrong.
When I try to start the PC now it will not boot, it states:
"Welcome to GRUB!
error: no such device xxxxxxxx"

If I put the USB in it will boot, what did I do wrong and how do I fix it?

It sounds like you may have installed grub to the HDD (ssd) in the computer and installed Linuxcnc on the USB stick.

Easiest way is to start again and install Linuxcnc onto the HDD.

Your USB stick will be something like /dev/sdb and your HDD should be something like /dev/sda
