Hewlett-Packard HP Compaq can't find parallel port was created by captain chaos
Hi all compliments of the season.
Been out of this for aprox 5 years, moving house a number of times and machine fell into disuse, comp died so had to start over.
I'm using 251 gecko drives with EN-008 MB-02 Breakout Board V6.
So new computer and I just can't get around the Parallel Port.
used:- dmesg |grep parport
and got parport 0 : pc style at 0x378
so used 0x378 as parport should I have used parport 0
I used all my old settings in stepconfig
any help will be welcome

It looks like you might have ticked the "create a simulated" configuration box early in the setup process?
