Linuxcnc 2.8 installation problem was created by raychar
Hello,
I download the LinuxCNC 2.8.0 Debian 10 Buster PREEMPT-RT ISO from Linuxcnc.org website. At the end of installation, an error message as shown in the attachment appeared. As the network was not yet connected, no further action I can perform. How can this be solved?

I doubt that there was any issue with your original download, it was just the installer couldn't reach the repos due to no network.
The error that you posted up is due to a hardware error on the destination media. Why that is happening i can't tell. The solution would be to either try again with the same USB stick and hope that it was just a blip. Or try again with a different USB stick.

Yes, there is no problem now for my first installation, it is only that I clicked the wrong button and went to the wrong step for me. The installation succeeds now. Thanks,
