I am an ardent follower of the great work at LinuxCNC. I just joined as a member and this is my first post. I hope I can contribute here by informing the developers about LinuxCNC defects. Please see the attachment on the AXIS display problem in LinuxCNC. Thank you.
The linuxcnc source code was obtained by Git clone method. My computing environment are as follows:
~/linuxcnc-dev$ . scripts/rip-environment
This script only needs to be run once per shell session.
~/linuxcnc-dev$ linuxcnc
LINUXCNC - 2.9.0~pre0
Machine configuration file is 'axis.ini'
Starting LinuxCNC...
Found file(lib): /home/wruslan/linuxcnc-dev/lib/hallib/core_sim.hal
Note: Using POSIX realtime

Looks like a localization issue. What language are you using on the PC? Unfortunately I think the majority of the developers are native English speakers.
I am not a developer, and I'm not sure how many of them frequent the forums. It might help asking your questions on one of the email lists.
