Cant boot from linuxcnc iso was created by oraclian
I understand there are many variables in each situation but for simplicity the ubuntu iso dvd I create on my other computer boots in my new machine and installs Ubuntu ok..... However none of the two or three linuxcnc iso dvds I have created will boot...suggesting a problem with the linuxcnc iso image...the problem is the same with version 2.8 and previous version of linuxcnc....... any ideas ?

Last i tested the 2.8 Buster ISO was yesterday and it worked properly on 2 USB and a laptop and a PC.
Disable UEFI in BIOS if at all possible, write the image using win32diskimager on windows or DD on Linux.

It worked thank you...the burner i was using seems to have been the issue... this is the first time i have asked a question in a forum and I am delighted with the process. thanks again
