Oh, my bad. "devuan beowulf" is "debian buster", "devuan chimaera" is "debian 10" - just without systemd.

Looks like GTK2 has been dropped from debian 10, so I can't get "axis" and "gmoccapy" running. "qtvcp qtdragon" and "tklinuxcnc" work, but both are not what I use on my machines.

Looks like I'll have to place a copy of beowulf+linuxcnc in a folder chroot there - and hope "somebody" fixes gtk2 stuff dor debian 10.

I am sure there is a ready made Devuan LinuxCNC ISO somewhere in this forum........

I thought that Buster == Debian 10 ? ...

Looks like GTK2 has been dropped from debian 10

~~... And my earlier link suggests that (some of?) gtk2 should be available in Buster.~~

Most likely I mixed the numers. Here's what I get in plaintext:
