error during installing the LinuxCNC 2.8.0 Debian 10 Buster PREEMPT-RT ISO

I am getting error during the installation of LinuxCNC 2.8.0 Debian 10 Buster PREEMPT-RT ISO. I have connected with internet (need to use LDAP ID Password to asses the internet) connection through Ethernet and it's working in linuxmint.

Each time I got this error related with mirror file.

This error is due to the internet connection not configured in previous step in automatic mode.

I abort the installation, restart the installation, configure the network manually, putting all the details like ip address, netmask, gateway, dns and continued the further steps, on the HTTP server page I keep it blank and it automatically fetched the mirror file, grub file automatically from the internet and thus completed the installation. Make sure to remove the pen drive when your screen show installation completed and then continue. Otherwise, USB will be booted again.

Hi Tommy,

Could you please help me what to write in synaptic package manger for up gradation from 2.8 to 2.8.1. Last time I did and putted wrong information and my Source.list file got corrupted. This time want to be careful and put the exact text that it need in synaptic package manager.

I am using "LinuxCNC 2.8.0 Debian 10 Buster PREEMPT-RT ISO".

What should I put in synaptic package manager for

* URL?
*Distribution?
*Section(s):?

No need to change anything for updating from 2.8 to 2.8.1, just:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
That should get the 2.8.1 automatically.
