DSL= damm small linux?

In Theory It is possible to run emc on any linux distro.
I for example use gentoo amd64, gentoo x86 and ubuntu.

You have to configure and install
- a kernel with rtai extension (adeos patch),
- rtai
- emc.

It is not possible to run emc on anything other than a linux kernel.

ulda,

I've been a Gentoo users for years, but I was about to try to build EMC2 on a Gentoo system. You mentioned that you needed an ADEOS patched kernel for EMC2. Is there an ebuild for such a thing, or do you have to manually patch the kernel (I have no problem doing this). Also, I don't seem to see an ebuild for EMC2, so do you have a list of dependencies for EMC2 that must be installed prior to building EMC2?

Thanks!
