Live ISO runs but failing when installing Linux

Greetings,

I successfully created a LIVE usb.  I can boot that up and run the live version of Linux/linuxCNC.

When I select install Linux (using the bootable USB) it fails saying it cannot locate the CD.

I an figuring I need to manually trigger the installation with the script pointing at the USB and not the CD.

I tried searching for USB installation but do not see similar requests.

Can anyone point me to a topic or a wiki page detailing how to install from a USB?

FYI I am planning on using a Dell Optiplex 790 (I5).  Initial latency tests look very good. (under 11,000 without any tweaking).  Hard drive on machine is a wiped business drive so no functioning operating system on it yet.

This is the 2.8.2 ISO - Failed to note that above. Downloaded it to a USB around Jan 1.

What utility did you use to write the image to the USB stick ?

win32diskimager is the preferred utility.

I think I saw somewhere that removing and reinserting the usb stick does the trick. In saying that I can't say that I've ever had that trouble.

Brilliant - Its installing as I type......

Perhaps a note on the download page stating to pull then reinstall if the USB if the installation complains about mounting the CD drive
