RIP instalation 2.9 - make is too long was created by zz912
Hello,
I use RIP instalation.
If I do no changes in compiled source code:
In version 2.8 MAKE takes a few second.
In version 2.9 MAKE takes over hours. It still compiling manuals.
I have this problem all time, but I preffered 2.8 Branche, so I did not solve this problem.
Now I will have to use 2.9 branche. Can I ask for help?

I just built 2.9 and it took a bit over 2 minutes
I think there's a command lne option to _not_ build the manuals,
but that may be the default with current source as I have never used
that option and when I built, no manuals were built.

I dont know, what is wrong. I am testing it in virtual PC and both version 2.8 and 2.9 works good.
I will look at real installation afternoon.
