ForIt's set within /boot/config.txt
It's not finished yet but I've compiled a bunch of notes here
github.com/Hecatron-Cad/LinuxCNC.Notes/tree/master/docs/content
Eventually it'll build out as a static site using nuxt docus
I'm currently re-testing a load of different kernel compile options with the video acceleration enabled
to see if they make a difference.

I'm building it from the raspian sources (they already have the patches in for the rpi)
github.com/raspberrypi/linux/tree/rpi-6.3.y
And applying the realtime patches
mirrors.edge.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel...-6.3.1-rt13.patch.xz
Details are here

Many thanks to your work here garlicbread.
Vector and I have been working on a new version of the getting Linuxcnc document pending the release of Linuxcnc 2.9 and Debian Bookworm.
We've documented a method to install on the Pi from the Debian repos. The latency is not as good as yours at around 90k but I suspect a lot of that has to do with you using the 6.3 kernel which I have built for X86.
We've raised a pull request to Linuxcnc for our final version, but it easier to read on my fork
github.com/rodw-au/linuxcnc/blob/rodw-ge...sing-debian-bookworm
I still think there is scope for you to help by offering a complete image as links to the final ready to run images are the last remaining things to add to our document!
If you see any glaring errors please let us know.
