Homing & limit switches - NC? NO? was created by poesel
Hi,
how is the logic with the limit & homing switches? Normally open (NO), normally closed (NC)? Is this configurable?
Thanks

You can use either NO or NC switched by changing the input polarity in hal
Note that NC switches are usually preferred for limit and home switches
since a broken switch wire will result in a fault rather than a mechanical crash.
( a stuck closed NC switch will cause a crash however as will a stuck open NO switch)
