Open Configuration tool issue

Check about 7 pages into the Pncconf where you would set the board name,  firmware, ect.
Click on board name and almost at the bottom of the menu you should find the " Discovery Option"
it should look like the below picture

 

Hi...I am not sure how to update firmware..have it downloaded but not sure how to make available to choose in pncconfig....

You update firmware with mesaflash, something like

mesaflash --device 7i96s --addr [mesa_card_ip_addr] --write 7i96s_5abobd.bin --reload

Where [mesa_card_ip_addr]  is 192.168.1.121 or 10.10.10.10 depending on how
you have the 7I96S configured

Did you execute the following?

sudo apt install python3-distro


When I run I get the following error message.

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
Package python3-distro is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package 'python3-distro' has no installation candidate

Apologies I was prompting if it was the same issue.
