I have seen some posting on the internet that refer to auto touch off on the z axis, but I don't see any way of doing it in axis. Is it possible to auto touch off and if so what does it take to auto touch off an axis ?
To do it completely automatically (ie on every M6 with no extra code) requires re-mapping of the M6 command, and is only supported in the development branch (2.6).

You can also use a probe to find both x and y.

I know for sure the one button Auto zero touch off works on V2.4.3 ubuntu 10.04LTS
Which button in Axis does this? I'm not familiar with that one...

Can you explain what you want to do exactly? I have a subroutine for auto touch off for Z on my plasma...
