Auto z axis touch off was created by hemicro
I have seen some posting on the internet that refer to auto touch off on the z axis, but I don't see any way of doing it in axis. Is it possible to auto touch off and if so what does it take to auto touch off an axis ?

You probably want to look at probe.
Also tool station probe.

I am at the wrong machine right now but I can send you links later.

To do it completely automatically (ie on every M6 with no extra code) requires re-mapping of the M6 command, and is only supported in the development branch (2.6).

You might want to look here...

You can also use a probe to find both x and y.

Which button in Axis does this? I'm not familiar with that one...
