Hi,
I'm trying to load a new component, and realized (I might be wrong... but it appears:) that on Weezy, RT version I cannot run linuxcnc-dev. I restarted my pc on RTAI, and could then use linuxcnc-dev to install a component. But now when I try to start linuxcnc (the config with the new component) - Debug file information : Note: Using POSIX non-realtime 4185, PID TTY STAT COMMAND, 4212, PID TTY STAT TIME COMMAND, Stopping realtime threads, Unloading hal components
Note: Using POSIX non-realtime.
? Any Idea what this means?

Hi John and Andy,
Thanks for your attention on this matter. linuxcnc-dev, the component that allows you to create/install new components. How ever, I managed to install it on my laptop for the simulation, and had success. so I'm back at work this morning, and going to try it again, It is possible that I missed something. I will give feedback as soon as I managed to locate my problem.
Once again thank you for your attention to this, I appreciate your input.

oh... I shouldn't forgrt to mention that my command in Ubuntu was
sudo halcompile --install XYZBCkins.c
but in Wheezy it was :
sudo comp --install XYZBCkins.c
(To find out these differences I had some help. Without Prof. Rudy's help, I would not have figured this out.)
