open last Gcode file used was created by Dave_Dyke
Hi all,
When starting LinuxcCNC the file axis.ngc is loaded by default, or I can specify a file with OPEN_FILE =
What I would like to do is, to automatically load the last file used in the previous session.
I use the File, Recent Files menu which is convenient but wondered if it is possible to automate loading the last file.

Many thanks ArcEye,
I will try this when I can get back to the machine.
BTW I try not to post dumb questions before a thorough subject search, but on this occasion my searching turned up nothing!

No worries, you looked thats the main thing
The difference was that I knew it was there and would have my handle on it.
A slightly different set of words might have found it for you, but I still had to sift 4 pages of results before I found it again
