To all!

Does someone need the debug tab on the settings page of gmoccapy?

I did implement the terminal as it was also in gscreen, but I do feel now, that it is not needed.

Please decide, as I would like to delete it.

Norbert,
we really do need to keep some terminal , for debug of scripts etc , even for argument it's a hidden option and requires an entry in the ini file to allow it
or it's behind the setup screen is fine for me
i'm working on installs that do not use anything else than gmocappy .

Hallo Dave,

I do use for debugging an normal terminal, and start gmoggapy from there, so I get all information. The integrated terminal will not show this information. In any case you are allowed to use a normal terminal. Or I could build a "second Screen layout" that will show a addidional terminal if you press the corresponding button.

IMHO it is time to save resources.

I don't need it nor use it.

Whenever I need a terminal window, which is quite often actually, I open it before I start LinuxCNC (with gmoccapy in fullscreen mode). Then it is as easy as alt-tab to get to that window.

Hello Guys,

We have three turning centers, all using Gmoccapy for well over 6 months each , and I haven't had a need for it yet.

My vote would be in favor of removing it.
