Gmocappy problem...... was created by Roguish
hey all. a little help/info please. I was using gmocappy last evening. all good. but...the screen started getting 'jerky'. essentially not updating very smoothly. after an hour or so it pretty much got to where it was refreshing every 20 or 30 seconds, sometimes longer. the motion never stopped, just the screen refreshes. waz up with that?
memory leak? i'm running master.
like the gui, but don't feel comfortable with a stuttering display.
never saw this with Axis.

What have you done?
Never heard about that, except if you are handling very large files.

thanks for the reply.
not sure, is 4500 lines big?
a couple of nested parts with helix entries, multi-depth passes, and rough+finish passes. lots of point to point motions.
had to run it several times, like 10 to 15 times.
so? memory leak or what?
as it is, gmocappy is unusable when the screen does not update properly.

May I getr your file to test?
Does that happen only in the live version or also in the sim?
I need to test in detail to find the problem, as I have not had such complains.

Thanks for checking back.
I do not run sim. no reason to.
attached here is a file.. 4660 lines.
it is definitely one I was running. Run it several time and see what happens.
I should be doing more machining next week. I will keep an eye on the system memory and cpu.
