GMoccapy Block Height display was created by Rubenv
Guys
I had a look around, not finding a solution.
I want the block height to be displayed next to the Z Offset value in the main screen/ tools section.
Is there a quick and easy way to do this?
I am rather new to Linux CNC, so help would be much appreciated, thanks!

You will have to modify the glade file for that. It would be easier to add a custom panel wirth a hal label.
If you introduce your panel as "box_custom_1) and connect the gmoccapy.blockheight pin to your label, your have archived nearly the same, without touching the original files.

Hallo crisiacuf,
hallo Rubenv,
I just pushed gmoccapy 2.3.3, to solve the problem.
I changed the following:
- the block-height value will be saved in the preference file each time it change.
- if the checkbox "use auto tool measurement" on the settings page is active, a new
label on the bottom of gremlin preview will be visible, showing the actual value.
- the hal pin block-height will be set on start up to the value, saved in the preference file
Does this solve your problems?
Norbert
