Hi
I have a strange effect. I do have copied a file from usb stick in a nc_files subdirectory.
And unplugged the stick. This directory is not empty and all files have .ngc extention.
Owner is my user.
In Gmoccappy I try to load that file. But I can not see it. All other files are visible. Just made a copy... Not visible neither????
I generated the file like many others with Mastercam and tranferde via USB stick.
Any idea.
THX in advance.
MIKE

I tried with short filename and also an empty file with. ngc extention.
All files are shown a Gcode files in explorer.
All permissions and the owner in the directory and level up are the same.

Mike,
If you use a good ssd disk this problem is problably gone. I had that problem before with poor usb sticks.

I use the passport ssd. Perfect for me. Works always on linux. You can smash it to the ground and it works again.

I am sure the SSD is not the problem, as he can see the other files. Most common are strange names, may be even with a leading dot or such stuff.

Noop
It was user stupidity!!!!
I believed that I set a link on desktop to my ngc files directory. BUT
It was a copy, based/connected on the desktop.
Took me hours, and only a file search of complete disk with midnight commander let me find that. Grrrrrrr
